Scott Lacy joined the LLO family in January 2023 to serve as the firm's first chief operating officer. Scott previously worked for Defenders, a premier ADT dealership, where he served in multiple capacities including Vice President of Operations and Vice President of Sales. In his twenty years with Defenders, Scott helped to grow the company from approximately 40 employees to more than 2500 employees, and helped Defenders grow by millions of dollars. Scott's passion is to help businesses grow, by helping implement systems and processes and by coaching and mentoring employees. Scott has also done some corporate consulting to help other businesses identify breakdowns in their standard operating procedures and to help them recognize areas for potential growth.

Before entering the corporate world, Scott served in the United States Army as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne. As a veteran, Scott believes it is important to give back to other veterans. Scott is a member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Scott currently serves on the board for the American Legion Post 117 as the Sergeant at Arms. In addition, he frequently donates his time to various events hosted at the post.

When Scott's not working, he loves spending time with his family. Scott enjoys spending time outdoors and visiting other American Legion and VFW posts when traveling.
